General Information
The biogas plant with a capacity of 1 MWh is located in the town Donji Mikholyats, the Osijecko-Baranja region, the Republic of Croatia.
The location of a biogas plant near agro-industrial complexes is an effective source of income for the production and processing agricultural process. The biogas power plant provides heat and electricity to agro-industrial enterprises.
The developing of biogas industry supports market development and improved framework conditions for increasing access to sustainable energy for households, social institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises in urban and rural areas.
The first start-up of the biogas plant began in July 2016 and started operating at full capacity in 2018.
